My Affiliate Link ​

What it is for ​

My Affiliate Link is the ambassador's personal screen. Here you create links to the organization's pages, funnels and products, which you then share. When someone buys through your link, you earn a commission. On the same screen you also see the people assigned to you.

How commissions are earned and paid out is described in My Wallet.

Where to find it ​

In the left menu click Ambassador → My Affiliate Link.

The item is shown only if:

  • the organization's subscription includes the ambassador programme,
  • your role has the permission Personal ambassador section → View explicitly ticked.

Before you start ​

  • You must be an ambassador with the status Active. You become an ambassador by signing up through the organization's registration link, or when an administrator promotes you (see Users).
  • If your account is not active yet, the screen shows a yellow notice Your ambassador account is not active. To activate it, please contact: with the organization's e-mail addresses (or … please contact your organization's administrator.), and the rest of the screen is blurred and cannot be used.

What I see on the screen ​

The My Affiliate Link screen has three parts, one below the other:

  1. Link Generator — Generate ambassador links for landing pages and products.
  2. Saved links — a table of the links you have created.
  3. Invited users — customers and people assigned to you because they came through your link.

Each row has a Copy link icon and a … menu with Delete (on a narrow screen also More info with the hidden columns). The table shows 5 rows per page, with pagination below it.

Before you start ​

  • Your ambassador account must be Active.
  • The organization must have something enabled for ambassadors:
    • a page — in Studio, the page settings (the Settings tab, the The page card) have Enable in Ambassador module switched on and the website is published (see Website and pages and Publishing),
    • a funnel — the funnel is published; published funnels are offered to ambassadors automatically, there is nothing to switch on in the app,
    • a product — at least one variant has the Ambassador column ticked in the Variants section (see Products).

Steps ​

  1. In the left menu click Ambassador → My Affiliate Link.
  2. In the Link Generator card choose one of Landing Pages, Funnels or Product in the Type field.
  3. If the items of the chosen type belong to more than one website (or to one website while some belong to none), a Project field appears. Pick a website, or leave All projects. Uncategorised are items that belong to no website.
  4. In the field next to it (Landing Pages, Funnels or Product) pick the specific item. With several websites the list is grouped by website.
  5. Click Generate. The button is active only once an item is selected.

The message Link saved! appears and the link is added to the Saved links table.

If you generate the same target again, no duplicate link is created — the app reuses the saved one and only refreshes its address.

How to check it works ​

  1. In the Saved links table click Copy link next to the link.
  2. Open the link in a private browser window — the right page must open and the address must end with ?ref= and your code.
  1. In the left menu click Ambassador → My Affiliate Link.
  2. In the Saved links table click the Copy link icon in the row.
  3. The message Link copied! appears. Paste the link into an e-mail, a post or a message.
  1. A visitor clicks your link. The browser remembers your code for 30 days.
  2. If they buy in the same browser within that time, they are assigned to you as invited — permanently: their later purchases count for you too.
  3. When the order is created, a commission with the status Pending is created.
  4. When the customer pays the order, the commission automatically changes to Approved and is added to Available in My Wallet.
  5. If an unpaid order is cancelled, the commission changes to Cancelled.

Commission amount = your level's rate × the order's base. Only products with the Ambassador column ticked on the variant make up the base: either their configured Ambassador base, or the price paid after discount.

What does not count:

  • a customer already assigned to another ambassador stays with them — the first assignment decides,
  • your own purchase through your own link does not count,
  • if you are not Active at the time of the order, no commission is created,
  • if the commission is 0 (for example a level with a 0 % rate or an order without enabled products), it is not created.

You get an in-app notification about a new (pending) commission and about an approved one.

  1. In the left menu click Ambassador → My Affiliate Link.
  2. In the Saved links table click … → Delete in the row.
  3. In the Delete link dialog with the question Are you sure you want to delete this link? confirm the deletion.

The message Link deleted appears. The link disappears from your list. People who were already assigned to you stay assigned to you.

Who can do this ​

The administrator sets the permission in Organization → Permissions (see Permission matrix). This permission must be ticked explicitly — it is not granted automatically with other permissions of the Ambassador module.

Common questions and problems ​

I don't have My Affiliate Link in the menu. Your role lacks the permission Personal ambassador section → View. People who signed up as ambassadors get the role Member — the administrator has to add the permission to that role.

The screen is blurred with the notice "Your ambassador account is not active". Your account has the status Pending or Inactive. Write to the e-mail address shown; the administrator activates you in Ambassador → Users.

There is nothing in the Landing Pages list. The organization has not enabled any page of a published website for ambassadors. Only pages from published websites with Enable in Ambassador module switched on are offered.

There is nothing in the Funnels list. The organization has no published funnel. Funnels that are not published are not offered.

There is nothing in the Product list. No product has the Ambassador column ticked on a variant.

The message "This page/funnel does not allow ambassador link generation". The page or funnel is no longer enabled for ambassadors. Pick another item.

A customer bought, but no commission was created. Most often: they bought in a different browser or after 30 days, they are already assigned to another ambassador, the product does not have the Ambassador column ticked on the variant, or your level has a 0 % rate.
